A UK court has sentenced Kwabena Kissi to three years and four months in prison for stealing £117,000 from a London bank after disguising himself as a security guard.
Mr Kissi, 40, was sentenced on Thursday at Snaresbrook Crown Court for deceiving and stealing from a bank in London.
Dressed in his former G4S security guard uniform, Mr Kissi, 40, walked into a Santander branch, collected the money, and left the bank.
The following day, the Ghanaian fled the UK to his home country, where he stayed for four years under the guise of caring for his sick mother.
Mr Kissi was captured on March 26, 2026, upon returning to the UK at Gatwick Airport and charged with his crime.
CCTV footage captured Mr Kissi walking out of the bank with the bag of money.
