Professor Uju Anya, who scorned the late Queen Elizabeth as a “wretched woman” and is infamous for her provocative anti-White hottakes on social media, has been relieved from her duties for the current academic year at Carnegie Mellon University where she was working as a tenured associate professor.
The institution which previously ignored calls for Ms Anya’s termination, announced on Friday that she “is not teaching courses on our campus this academic year” after she mocked deceased conservative campaigner Charlie Kirk as a “shitbag” and tweeting “may he rot in piss” on the first anniversary of his death.
“Dr. Uju Anya is currently on voluntary professional leave from the university and is not teaching courses on our campus this academic year,” Carnegie Mellon University wrote on X Saturday. “We are deeply concerned by recent hostile and threatening social media posts by Dr. Anya and are reviewing this matter closely.”
The institution distanced itself from Ms Anya’s posts saying it didn’t reflect the position of Carnegie Mellon University.
“To be clear: These posts incorrectly imply our university’s endorsement and are contrary to our community standards and values as well as our commitment to fostering a safe, respectful and welcoming campus community,” the university said.
For years, the institution shunned calls for her termination or disciplinary actions, assuming the stance that the professor had rights to free speech until Saturday when she replied an X user, Wuhan Fourth Turning Swan, @TheWuhanClan, to “die first, White man and ask yourself why I’m dancing.”
@TheWuhanClan had qouted Ms Anya’s post celebrating the death of Rush Limbaugh, asking why she often celebrates the death of white people.
Her denouncement and punishment followed a string of rabid anti-white posts she made on her X handle recently, which triggered intense backlash and scrutiny from netizens and elites including X owner, Elon Musk.
“Weird how you only celebrate the deaths of white people. Why is that?,” @TheWuhanClan posted, qouting Ms Anya’s post that says “Rush Limbaugh finally did something positive in life by dropping dead. Good riddance to bad rubbish.”
Tech billionaire, Elon Musk, said “This is a real professor at Carnegie Mellon University,” quoted Ms Anya’s deleted post.
Another X user, @BaseMikeLee said, “Any university that doesn’t fire faculty for violent, racist rhetoric should immediately lose federal funding. Looking at you, @CarnegieMellon.”
Also, @ChiefTrumpster said, “For those who think @CarnegieMellon had no knowledge of the actions of the lunatic who wants to kill White people, she posted about killing Whites in 2022. They did nothing back then too.”
“The mentally deranged Professor and lunatic godmother of Nigerian twitter witches yesterday declared her excitement at seeing a white man dying. Her post enraged a lot of people who are now reporting to her university. She has run away from X deleting her account in the aftermath of her madness,” @OurfavonlineDoc said.
She deactivated her X account amid a flurry of criticisms from netizens across the globe.
Ms Anya is more known as a major campaigner for anti-white hate across the U.S. social media platforms than for her work as an academic .
Ms Anya, a Nigerian by origin, earned a reputation for mocking White people and celebrating their deaths.
In 2022, Ms Anya in a thread of tweets wished the Queen “an agonizingly painful death like the one she caused for millions of people.”
“I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating,” Ms Anya tweeted in September 2022.
The professor gained Twitter notoriety for driving ethnic hatred, especially against the Hausa and Yoruba population.
Ms Anya is also known for making false claims like August 2022 while being condemned by African Americans for her use of a street slur, ‘Akata,’ she claimed the word emanated from Yoruba language and the Yoruba people use it to describe African Americans as wild animals.
Her claim was immediately debunked as false and an attempt to set African Americans against people of Yoruba ethnic group in Nigeria, whom she had never forgiven for siding with federal troops to keep Nigeria together during the civil war.
She was associate professor of second language acquisition, director of the language program at Carnegie Mellon University.
