As part of the familiarization process and engagement with chambers of commerce and strategic business institutions in Nigeria, the new Director of Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Lagos, Dr. Immanuel Lingga, the Deputy Director, Mr. Arif Indrakusnadi and Mr. Randolf Silaen, Government and Public Relations Officer, paid a courtesy visit to the President and Executives of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), at PHCCIMA Secretariat, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Wednesday 24 July 2024.

Dr. Lingga informed his host, that ITPC Lagos is in Port Harcourt for the implementation of the 3rd Nigeria-Indonesia Business Forum, as well as the mobilization of business leaders in Port Harcourt for the participation in the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), holding on 9-12 October 2024, at ICE-BSD CITY, Indonesia.

He expressed his appreciation for the continued partnership between ITPC Lagos and PHCCIMA; and assured that he will work towards deepening trade ties between Nigeria and Indonesia in various economic sectors.

In continuation of the strategic support offered to ITPC Lagos in the fulfillment of her mandate, the Nigeria-Indonesia Commercial Association (NICA), facilitated this courtesy visit; and NICA delegation was led by HRH R.W.I. Samuel Sambo X, Vice President and Dr. Elvis Enyioko, the Executive Secretary.

In welcoming his distinguished guests, Eze Sir Mike Elechi, President, Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), expressed his happiness to receive the new Director and Deputy Director of ITPC Lagos, as well as NICA delegation to PHCCIMA.

He hailed the robust relationship between PHCCIMA and ITPC Lagos, that has seen to the implementation of the 1st (2022), 2nd (2023) and now the 3rd Nigeria-Indonesia Business Forum in Port Harcourt, with the partnership of PHCCIMA; and expressed his chambers willingness to continue to explore ways at deepening business and trade ties between his chamber members and Indonesian businesses.
