Sadyr Zhaparov praises launch of Turkic Investment Fund as ‘timely’

MOSCOW

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov on Friday urged the leaders of the Turkic states to strengthen economic cooperation and boost efforts aimed at digital transformation.

Speaking at a summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Astana, Kazakhstan, Zhaparov emphasized the importance of combining efforts to uncover economic potential of the Turkic states.

He welcomed the launch of the Turkic Investment Fund, saying it is a “timely” decision, and important to maintain and expand the availability of various financial market instruments necessary to meet business needs and implement business plans.

The Kyrgyz leader also urged strengthening relations between Turkic cooperation organizations.
