1 suspect arrested in Morocco, 2 in Spain

RABAT, Morocco

Authorities in Morocco and Spain teamed up to bust a terrorist cell linked with the Daesh/ISIS terror group.

One suspect was caught in Morocco’s central Chtouka Ait Baha region, while two were arrested in Spain’s southern city of Almeria, the Moroccan Interior Ministry said in a statement.

Digital equipment and printed materials of the terror group were found during the raid in Chtouka Ait Baha, the ministry added.

According to Moroccan authorities, around 200 Daesh/ISIS cells have been dismantled in the country since 2003.
