The Nigerian Southern Senators Forum, on Saturday, expressed sadness over the demise of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

Mr Ubah (Anambra South) died on Saturday in London.

Chairman of the forum, Adetokunbo Abiru, in a statement, praised Mr Ubah’s significant contributions to business, the legislature, Anambra, and the nation.

Mr Abiru highlighted Mr Ubah’s remarkable achievements in the business sector, noting his entrepreneurial ventures positively impacted the economy.

He commended his dedication and effectiveness as a legislator, saying his efforts were instrumental in shaping policies and advancing the interests of his constituency and the nation at large.

Mr Abiru also lauded Mr Ubah’s contributions to the development of Anambra, saying his various initiatives brought progress and prosperity to the state and the South-East region.

He extended the forum’s deepest condolences to late Ubah’s family, friends, the people of Anambra, the South-East and Nigeria.

“Sen. Ubah’s legacy would continue to inspire future generations. May his soul rest in peace,” Mr Abiru said.
