Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Nechirvan Barzani, president of Iraq’s Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), in Antalya, Türkiye on Friday.
According to a statement from the Syrian presidency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, held at the NEST Congress Center in the Belek tourism region, where Anadolu is the Global Communication Partner.
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani also attended the meeting.
