Former APC national chairman Adams Oshiomhole has again condemned the administration of then-President Muhammadu Buhari for bequeathing a mismanaged country and economy to his successor, Bola Tinubu.

Messrs Oshiomhole, Buhari and Tinubu are fellow partymen.

Mr Oshiomhole, the senator representing Edo North in an interview aired on Channels TV on Tuesday, said, “Based on the economic environment inherited by this government, we would have expected they in 24 months, they would have fixed all those problems and Nigeria will be back.”

The former Edo governor added, “Truly, truly, this country was badly mismanaged, the economy was badly mismanaged. This is not to blame anyone but it is to state the fact.”

In 2024, Mr Oshiomhole said Nigerians should blame Mr Buhari, who orchestrated “reckless” policies designed to “dehumanise” Nigerians.
