TUNIS, Tunisia

Tunisian Foreign Minister Osman Al-Jarandi and his Libyan counterpart Najla Al-Mangoush on Sunday discussed the areas of cooperation between their countries in Tripoli.

Al-Jarandi met with Al-Mangoush on the sidelines of the consultation meeting of Arab foreign ministers in the Libyan capital Tripoli, a Tunisian Foreign Ministry statement said.

Common areas of cooperation and bilateral relations were also discussed at the meeting.

Sunday’s meeting was attended by a number of Arab countries, including Algeria, Tunisia and Qatar. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit were not present.
