US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Chinese central bank Governor Yi Gang met in Bali, Indonesia.

They discussed global macroeconomic and financial challenges, including the economic prospects of “our two countries,” Yellen said on Twitter.

“I look forward to future engagements with PRC (People’s Republic of China) economic officials,” she added.

Wednesday’s meeting took place on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali. On Monday, US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping also met on the sidelines of the summit.
