Since 2009, the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Lagos has been at the forefront facilitating trade and investments between Nigeria and Indonesia. Working closely with the Indonesian Embassy Abuja, ITPC Lagos continues to assist Nigerian and Indonesian companies identify business opportunities for mutual gain; as well as promote Indonesian exports to Nigeria.

In furtherance of its mandate, the new leadership of ITPC Lagos, led by the Director, Mr. Hendro Jonathan Manurung; Deputy Director, Mr. Doni Adria Novri; and the Government and Business Relations Officer, Mr. Randolf Silaen; paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Elvis Enyioko, the Executive Secretary, Nigeria – Indonesia Commercial Association (NICA), on Friday 26 February 2021 at Abuja Nigeria.

While receiving Mr. Manurung and his team, Dr. Enyioko, traced the history of working relationship with both ITPC Lagos and the Indonesia Embassy Abuja to 2012, when the 1st Nigeria – Indonesia Business Forum was held at Hotel Aryaduta Jakarta.

He assured the Director, that NICA will continue to work closely with ITPC Lagos, to deepen and strengthen trade relations between Nigeria and Indonesia.

Amongst the commitments reached by both leaders, was the effective mobilization and participation of Nigerian business leaders in the 2021 Trade Expo Indonesia in Jakarta; as well as opening up the manufacturing sectors of both countries to export opportunities.
